Fire at Block K
Last Wednesday (24/6/2009), close to midnight a fire broke up in the kitchen (as reported) in one of the unit at Block K.The tenants/residents reported the incident to the guard house at 11:30 pm.
In between 15 - 20 minutes, 6 fire engines and 2 Bomba rescue motorcycle rushed into our Taman. With all the siren sounds, flashing lights, large contingent of firemen and large crowd (majority came over from low cost flats) it was indeed a big action scene in the Taman.
Some of the residents must have gone to sleep and not knowing about the fire till the next day.In case you missed out the action don't be despair.
Here are the series of photos taken from various contributors at the scene on that night.
Ooh...remember to switch off all cooking utensils and electrical appliances before you go to sleep at night.

Did anybody get injure or die?
What was the cause of the fire?
How come I did not hear the fire engines on that night! Grrr....!
Most probably you were not in the vicinity when the fire engines arrived. Or you were in but asleep or doing some other things. One cannot be in all places at the same time. No hard feeling.
