Views from a resident at K Block

I just received a post from a resident, which he post as a comment. After reading through the post, I preferred to put it up as a new post. Here it goes.

Hi, haloooo, MC members please listen to the people.

I am very upset with mgt team. I use to stay here as a tenant since year 2000 and only recently i bought myself a unit here. I love the garden and environment so much. But to my disappointment, situation change. Carpark barrier always breakdown and not repair. Guard is irresponsible and letting car in and out like nobody business. What the point of having the carpark sticker and barrier. I carpark lot at Block K is always obstruct by other vehicle. I complaint to the guradhouse and the guard say "Oh...u punya carpark jauh dalam kat swimming pool, tak cukup guard. Tak boleh jaga semua la."...walao. what nonsense is this....if they strictly only let car with pdpi sticker in only.

I would like to proposed the resident to vote for project to install barrier (those ilumintating plastic tube) along the garden perimeter and wherever driveway with single loading carpark. We identify a 2-3' strip to install the barrier which indirectly couple as the resident walkway. Every morning we see people walking along the raodside with fear of vehicle coming from the back. This also can helps to block driver from parallel parking due to the narrowing of the driveway. Now with the car parking at the roadside, is very dificult for two car to go through from different direction. Barriere should be installed with sufficient gap for car to reverse out from their carpark lot.

Attached herewith is the image of the proposed idea in my comment

Buffet Dinner On 7th March 2009

Today (12th Feb 2009) I saw the notice about the buffet dinner on 7th March 2009. I'm sure whoever read this notice will definitely ask the following questions:-
  1. What is the purpose of this gathering?
  2. Who should attend?

If the answer is "To foster closer relationship among fellow residents", then why are the residents not invited. May be now comes the month of March, AGM is just round the corner, this dinner is supposed to be a campaigning warm-up. Especially, ONLY REGISTERED OWNERS, mind you. Those who have NO voting right are being rejected.

Social activities in thePDPI involves all, residents and owners. Residents who are staying here are the ones who will contribute greatly to the environtment and well-being of the area. It is the daily on-goings and behaviours that project the state of condition of the area. Look around you, you will notice that we have a great number of retirees here. Many residents enjoy the garden, be they oldies, young men and ladies, children as well. Many of them are not OWNERS, they are just residents.

The present MC members went round and spread news about previous committees esp. the R.A. being corrupted. There were claims by certain quarters that tenders were jacked up. If there was any evidence, lodge a report then. Donot create any suspision among the community in PDPI. Unleash any bully to create fear among residents.
